Psalm 37:4 speaks to me deeply:  "Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart."

I rarely refuse a delightful nibble of chocolate.  And coffee?  A mere whiff of a freshly brewed cup can change my mood from dismayed to delighted in an instant.  But there's nothing on earth that delights me to my core like digging in the WORD OF GOD.  Over the years, I have come to realize that the deepest desire of my heart is to KNOW, to LOVE, and to BETTER UNDERSTAND GOD.  What a delight to listen to the Spirit's nudges and discover "nuggets of truth" in Scripture.  Truly I say unto you, TRUTH is Good Food!  It thrills my soul to serve up those "nuggets of truth" hot and fresh to a group of hungry Sisters at a ladies' day or a ladies' retreat!  Since 2001, I have been blessed to speak on many different topics.  Below you will find a list of some of my favorites.  Enjoy your stroll through this "garden of themes."  I welcome the opportunity to speak at YOUR next event.  In fact...
it would be my DELIGHT!

beware of compare & Despair!

We will become intimately aware of "Compare & Despair," and discuss how to banish this deadly habit from our relationships.  Our main Scripture is:  2 Corinthians 10:12, "We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves.  When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise." A favorite life quote to ponder is:  "Comparison is the thief of JOY!" ~ Theodore Roosevelt

ripples on the water

Our main focus is on the power of influence.  "Drop a pebble in the water, just a splash, and it is gone.  But there's half-a-hundred ripples circling on and on and on."  Words matter.  Christian Sister, Mother, Daughter...we are making ripples on the water!
